Affordable hotels are all over the place in Paris. And while they may be classified in the budget category, that doesn’t mean they lack charm. Many have pleasing décor and antiques are a very common feature, along with views of flowered courtyards and the rooftopss of Paris. Room size can be small, but after all, when in Paris, who stays in their room?
Europe Saint Severin
The Europe Saint Severin is located near the Notre Dame and the Louvre in the Latin quarter. The décor is simple and elegant and many of the rooms have big windows and exposed brick. The rooms bordering the street have glass doors that open onto a balcony so you can soak up views of Paris from your room.

Hotel du Palais Bourbon
This reasonably priced hotel is located near the Eiffel Tower. The rooms have recently been redecorated and have hair dryers, air conditioning and a mini bar in each. Overall a great find, with a friendly staff and charming flowerboxes on the exterior that give it a very “Parisian” feel.

Hotel de Lille
The Hotel de Lille is located 10 minutes away from the Louvre. The service here is very friendly although the rooms are somewhat small. On the other hand, breakfast is included in the room price. Its central location is also great because there are small wine and cheese shops right nearby, which are great for picnics at the Jardin des Tuileries behind the Louvre.

Hotel de la Sorbonne
The Hotel de la Sorbonneis situated right in the center of Paris, just a stone’s throw away from Notre Dame. The rooms are small but clean and furnished with antique furniture. There is also a pleasant rose-colored breakfast room that has a cozy fireplace. English, Italian and Spanish are spoken.
